Waterfowl Hunting at its Finest Canada Geese, Snow and Ross Geese, Specs, Mallard and Pintail ducks and more Tiger Hills Outfitting Ltd. offers hunts from mid September to late October to take advantage of peak bird numbers. Our service includes experienced local guides, all necessary equipment except guns, lodge accommodation, top notch home cooked meals, bird license, packaging and freezing of game and assistance with bird cleaning; all wrapped up in friendly hospitality.

A typical hunting day hosted by Carl and Sandra Barber at Tiger Hills Outfitting:

• Continental breakfast followed by a short trip to a previously scouted field shoot
• Help set up the decoy spread and wait for the morning flight.
• Enjoy the morning action as geese and ducks commit to the spread, sometimes brushing your blind with their wing-tips.
• Get some photos taken, pack up and travel back to lodge for a hearty lunch.
• Relax after lunch and then head out mid afternoon for more action.
• Arrive back at lodge at the end of the day to enjoy a home cooked dinner.
• Relax, tell stories, dream of tomorrow’s adventure, maybe watch your favorite team play on the satellite TV.

Equipment:

• A variety of full body, silhouette, shells, socks, Texas rag and battery operated decoys
• A selection of layout blinds, layout seats and camouflage covers as well as white suits for snow goose hunts.
• Optional use of an electronic caller for snow goose shoots
• Four wheel drive trucks with a cargo trailer rigged with floodlights for night set-up
• ATV’s (quads) and quad trailer if necessary to facilitate entry into wet fields
